Working toward three Quantum Insider challenge submissions

The question

How can three ambitious workstreams move toward submission without outrunning their evidence? The working rule is to state the question, preserve the units, show the accepted record, describe review by its actual scope and keep open questions visible.

That rule matters especially in quantum work. Screening a problem for a defensible quantum target is useful even when the answer is negative. It prevents an interesting technology from becoming an unsupported promise.

What the evidence currently supports

Response to the E.ON challenge brief: an inspectable public-reference decision space

Qonduit's independent public-reference package developed in response to the E.ON challenge brief contains 88 accepted candidate characterisations, 1,760 precomputed deterministic sensitivity evaluations and 30 records that are non-dominated across six separately displayed native-unit objectives.

The explorer shows those relationships without selecting a winner. It does not use E.ON network or demand data, and it does not establish an operational recommendation, investment decision, construction claim, forecast, probability, growth plan or N-1 certification. Its source-relative cost index is not E.ON CAPEX, NPV or business value.

The record also preserves a scoped quantum-screening result: no defensible quantum target was admitted in the authenticated family tested for this independent challenge response. That does not show that quantum is universally unnecessary or impossible. Qonduit made zero execution calls for this result; no MPS comparison, hardware run or provider run occurred in this independent work, and no quantum advantage is claimed.

What review adds

The Stage 1 Council used seven members, 42 ordered non-self review edges and 95 procedural checks. Its completed review was advisory. It was not seven independent numerical reproductions and did not create scientific, publication or deployment authority.

The Stage 3 Council used five members and ten review edges across fifteen decisions. The record reports five acceptances per decision and no dissent, minority finding, blocker or veto. This was advisory assurance over frozen evidence and procedure, not external certification or an expansion of the accepted scientific scope.
